PBG Rapid Funding FY23-24

This application is currently paused to assess remaining award amount available. Please check back on September 10, 2024.

OPHP has funding in the form of a "Rapid Preventive Block Grant (PBG) funding" that is available for LPHAs. This is a rapid funding opportunity of OPHP Preventive Block Grant funds for FY24 (August 2024 - September 30, 2024).  This funding is for projects, training, contracting, community partnerships, etc. related to building capacity and/or implementing projects related to the Planning and Assessment foundational public health capability.

This is available to any LPHA.  Awards will be provided on a rolling basis with bi-weekly reviews on Wednesdays and Fridays from August 9, 2024 until September 27, 2024 or until all funds are allocated. The budget period is from the date of application award (rolling basis) until September 30, 2024.  This funding has the same funding limitations as the regular OPHP PBG block grant.  A work plan is NOT needed, but the questions in the Google form must be answered fully and a budget must be submitted.

OPHP will provide awards from $500 up to $10,000 to an individual LPHA, a partnership, or a district. The total amount of funding available is $92,644. Application awards will be based on the completeness of the application and the number of LPHAs that apply (see the Application Guidance for review criteria).   We anticipate 10-20 awards.

Please see the Application Guidance and the Google Submission Form (linked below).   A PDF of the Google form is also linked for your planning purposes only. All submissions must be made through the Google Form.  A standard budget will also need to be submitted.  Please read the Application Guidance linked below for a full description of the funding.
